Hi Peter, How are you?
This statement is so true. I used to be a real snob, my brothers and friends have confirmed that. Then one day, I thought to myself “what am I doing?” This is just not right. Who am I to judge other people and/or what they are doing. I learned it from my mom and she learned it from her mom…not sure where it came from before that. I am trying to teach my kids that nobody is perfect and they need to get to know someone before they start jumping to conclusions about others.
Howdy Pumpkin, I’m good, thank you. Great job of pointing out that this is a learned trait. Now days I think most of us learn it from TV, the radio, at school, etc. It’s everywhere you look, as if that’s the way it is supposed to be. I don’t think I was ever labeled a snob, but I’ve done it all my life to this day, but I’m working to learn a new trait(s). It’s hard to change 39 years worth of bad habits overnight, so I’m just taking it one day at a time. 😉
