The answer to this is very simple. I don’t believe in equality FOR WOMEN. I believe in equality FOR EVERYONE. Egalitarianism, not feminism, is how we can achieve equality.
Ka-Boom!!! I’m guessing this is one of the only differing views on this topic that I can’t disagree with. Feminism is a baby step towards egalitarianism. I’m right there with you 100%. Thank you for stopping in, GNL, and for taking the time to comment. 😉
Glad you agree. I probably will loose you saying that feminism is fighting against egalitarianism, it’s not a step towards egalitarianism. The oppressor/oppressed narrative of feminism is creating gender inequalities, not fighting against them.
I’m resistant to the idea, but not close-minded. Feel free to present your case.

That quote isn’t as much of a zinger as you think it is.
At face value it is. Thoughts and reasoning behind it might be a bit nefarious, but I was taking it as was, mixed with my own understandings of life. There are no women’s problems, gay problems, black problems, Jewish problems; only human problems. That fact shouldn’t take away from the parts, but it should be recognized; suffering on anyone’s part is suffering on everyone’s part.
Or… where you talking about the original post/image/quote? I thought you were talking about GNL’s comment. Feel free to elaborate, and I’m sorry if I misunderstood.
Thanks for stopping in, EM, and for taking the time to comment. 🙂
