Loving, caring, sharing, kindness, compassion, empathy, respect, equality, freedom, peace, critical thinking, logic, reason, understanding, science…
That was so cool. Thanks for sharing that one.
I have to switch up the pace ever so slightly from time to time just to keep it interesting and to keep you guess. 😉

That’s the best damn video I have seen in a long time. I am a science geek. My favorite subject is astronomy. You would laugh if you saw my bookcase. You would definitely find Sagan and Hawking. You would also find Chet Raymo. Have you ever heard of him. He has written some really good books. My favorites are “365 Starry Nights” and “Soul of the Night” Check out his blog too. I sent you to a particular post about natural religion which I would probably call Natural appreciation because I don’t really like the word religion. What I do like is Chet’s relationship with nature. He is also an amateur agronomist. I have actually tried to find religion here and there in my life but it never worked out. You have made me realize why. I thank you for that and now I don’t feel guilty for having no religion in My life. There are still traces of my Catholic upbringing in my head– guilt being one of them. Oh, I also look forward to your posts on Facebook.
Sorry I didn’t get to your comment sooner, Joan, but we’ve been very busy the last couple of days, and much hasn’t changed recently. I’m glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you enjoy many more here. 🙂 I’m not familiar with Raymo, but when things slow down I will be sure to follow up on your link; thank you. It sounds like something right up my alley. I’m not real hip on throwing the “R” word around either, but it gets the idea across quick and easy sometimes, even if it isn’t exactly accurate. 😉 Knowing I could bring you a little peace of mind really warms my heart and brings a tear to my eye. I’ll do my best to keep making appearances on facebook, but if they keep me as busy as they have lately, it might not be near as often, but I’ll do my best. Between the blog and facebook, I prefer the blog, but I realize facebook has its strong points and grasp on the masses, so I will make time for both, and hopefully soon.
