Everyone, I’d Like You To Meet, Spud

Two weeks ago today I came home to find a squatter camped out in my dining room.  Rumor has it he had been there for at least a couple of weeks.  The good news is that he found his way to my doorstep thanks to my friend, Teeni, from over at Aunty’s Tea Room; so I didn’t have to worry about changing the locks.  😉

Spud posing for his mugshot.

Spud (short for Spider-Bud) is now a welcome addition to the family.  Spud is actually my reward for having participated in and winning a contest over at Teeni’s place.  I also designed the badge for her “Crochet-A-Thing-A-Week-For-A-Year” challenge (Yarndango).

Since then Teeni has relocated Yarndango over to the Mad Crochet Lab.  If you or someone you know is a fan of crocheting, the Mad Crochet Lab is full of great project ideas, patterns, pictures and everyone is welcome.

Spud picking out a couple of movies for us to watch.

Here are a few of the amazing creations that have come out of the Mad Crochet Lab:

And let’s not forget my favorite bud and the birth place of Spud:

Thank you so very much, Teeni.  😀

Wowza! Thanks so much for the linky love! OMG – you picked the perfect name for him – SPUD!!! I love it! You even got him to look a bit sinister in that pose in the first picture. I don’t know how you did that, but oh so cool! I hope he gives you many years of smiles and pleasant thoughts as well as pleasant company wherever you are in life, my friend. Also, my apologies to both you and AJ for my part in the little heated discussion we had here. Hope he sees this. I guess we each are passionate at times and strive too hard to get our own views across and then focus changes from the subject at hand. Even little old me. See my dented and busted up old halo? LOL. But on to better things – which movie did Spud choose? 😉

The linky love was my pleasure, ma’am. No worries on your comments. Had they gotten out of hand, they just wouldn’t have been posted. 😉 We watched both movies, don’tcha know? A bunch of thumbs up here! We highly recommend them to anyone with a pulse. 😀

LOL. My hubby will be out Wednesday night at a concert and I am planning on enjoying one of those movies (finally) for myself then. If he is out long enough, I may try to fit both in! He can watch them another time.

I hope he enjoys himself long enough for you to watch a double feature. I would love to hear your thoughts on both films. 🙂
