To you this looks appetizing, Peter, to me it looks like a picture of very little of what I eat. It is a small part but I am afraid it is not the prettiest part. I guess the sauce on a pizza would be there as a tomato. I have a can of tomato paste. It is still waiting to be opened after I think about five days. I bought it with good intentions, about five days ago. Your pic reminds me of ten percent of what I eat. Hey — this reminds me — you should read my blogpost the one about this guy Michael Pollan, the author, and whether as a publishing company you would like one sort of diet or the other. If all you cared about was your needs, as a publishing house. Not your nutritional needs. As an individual, though, I find I do not feel right (or I feel I do not find right?) if I do not eat my veggies or my fruities. Every few days I find this quite necessary to do. I never have I eaten a lot of sugar, and in my family we never ate a lot of white flour, either. Only whole wheat and rye bread and crackers. NO WHITE BREAD! That is because of my Judaic origins (I am named Silverman) and we did not eat horrble “white man food” —– in any case, ever.

p.s. I think the blog posting was a few days ago (jacksgreatblog.blogspot.com)
I used to be in the same boat as you, Jack, and for the most part still am. The only vegetable I used to eat were french fries, pizza sauce, ketchup, pickles and not much more. Well the list hasn’t gotten a whole lot longer, but with the help of juicing I get much more fruits and vegetables in me. I figure if I won’t eat them the least I can do is drink them. 😉 And yes, it makes a world of difference in your health. I’ll try to get by your place soon and check out that post; thanks.
