This reminds me of a time we were still buying real trees at Christmas; I was taking pictures as my husband was trimming the tree. I sent them to my mother since we lived to far away to get to see her during the holidays. She wrote back and said, “Poor Tree”. See she only used trees that could be planted or would have dad go get one that was died and spray paint it. They were cute.After my father past away she bought an artificial one. That tree stayed decorated on her porch until she past away (7 years).
Your mother sounds like a very earth conscious woman. Her’s would be some fine footsteps to follow. 🙂
