Happy Blogoversary To Me

I say “Happy Blogoversary to me” but really it’s halfhearted. I don’t know about everyone else, but my stats have been suffering immensely as of late.  My stats were always on an upward climb from month to month, until I peaked out in August.  Since then it’s been a downward spiral.  I haven’t seen such low stats since April, 2008.

I know I’m mostly to blame, what with being way behind on my reading, which in turn puts me way behind on my commenting.  Commenting equates to adverting in the world of blogging.  It also happens to be my favorite part of blogging (leaving and receiving).  I love the social aspect of blogging.

I do my best to always answer comments here at H&A with in 24 hours.  When possible I try to check on the comments I’ve left just as often.

Still I wonder if there isn’t more to it.  The lower stats I mean.  I wonder if the economy isn’t effecting the blogging world.  That and this wild and crazy presidential race.  Between the two, I think people are spending less and less time blogging.  I’m just grasping at straws here, wondering what it all means.

Anyway, thank you, to those of you that have made me a regular pit stop.  I know my written posts (non Crazy Pix posts) have been put on the endangered species list, but I swear they are always on my mind.  If only I could download them to my blog. I’ll do my best to work on that.  My noggin is bursting at he seams with topics-o-plenty.

I’m also considering kicking it up a notch here at H&A.  I don’t ever want to live up to my blog title (HATE & ANGER), but I have been giving some though to living up to my “NC-17, XXX, Adults Only” warning labels.  No, I don’t plan on becoming a porn site, but I do have a hankering to push the envelope.  Consider yourselves warned.

I hope I don’t chase off any more of you than I already have.  I hope by cutting loose a bit I’ll regain some of my readership (while retaining the rest of you), and take my little corner of the web to the next level.

I’ve spent most of this year in a bit of a stooper, and I want out so badly.  I’m setting some little blog goals for myself and with a little luck, and a whole lot of effort, I’ll make it happen.  Wish me luck.

Are you hip to Harfax Johnson?  The man is a musical genius, though truth be told, he doesn’t actually make music…  he makes music better! If you haven’t already experienced this musical phenomenon, I strongly suggest you get your butt on over there and bask in the glory that is Harfax Johnson.

He’s got some super new Halloween songs and videos over there just waiting for your viewing pleasure.  And then once you’ve watched them both, you can vote on which one you like the best.

Not the greatest week in the world of weight loss, but no gains to report, so I’m feeling a little better now.  I was really dreading this weigh in.  Maybe that’s why I forgot to weigh in yesterday. Dreading it so much I blocked it from my mind.  We were doing all the wrong things this past week.  We’ll try a little harder this week.  Really.
