The bigger the bait, the bigger the catch.
Just another reason to stick to dry land.

That is why I never get in lakewater!!
Me personally, I really don’t like getting in any water that I can’t see through. Nothing scares me, also know as a fear of the unknown.
Fly fishing is all fun and games until you’re swallowed whole by a great white shark.

Cue Jaws theme music…dun dun dun dun dun dun dun…
Eeek!
Wouldn’t that just be the worst? Out there is the water and all of a sudden you start hearing the Jaws theme music. That alone would make me panic.

it would be so scary if sharks swam in freshwater.
They sometimes do get up into rivers.
Really. So do small whales on occasion. But they don’t tend to go that far up stream.

Gah, those damn shark pics get me every time!!!!! Fresh water, salt water, doesn’t matter, as far as I’m concerned those things will show up in a swimming pool
Oh yeah, as soon as the water gets a little cloudy, or the lights go out, watch your toes.

Oh geez, I actually have a shark phobia and these pics really get me. I watched Jaws too many times and lived in Hawaii as a child so I had all rights to my fear. Sharks are freakin’ scary!
Agreed. I’ve had stuff (???) bump into me in while swimming into the ocean and it totally freaked me out. It’s my understanding sharks will sometimes bump things before deciding to take a bite.
I think I’ll stick to swimming pools.

I agree that the Jaws theme music would probably make me freeze just as much as the sight of a shark would. Yikes.
It’s ingrained into our psyche. Curse you Hollywood!
