I just received a fine award from Odette over at ~little miss firefly~. If you read my last post you know this didn’t start out as a very good day, but all of that has changed now.
Odette has managed to uplift my spirits with is comment:
i’m passing the award to two of my favorite guys (wonderful husbands i am sure of it!) who read my blog and even brave and nice enough to leave me comments. thank you for being here, i am enjoying your company very much!
and with this sparkly:

Odette is such a kind, sweet, loving soul, and I never expected to receive an award from her. Some how in my mind I don’t feel I’m worthy, but she obviously feels otherwise, and who am I to argue. Thank you very much, Odette.
Folks, if you’re not familiar with Odette or her blog, I strongly suggest you go check it out and get to know her. She’s a crafty little devil (heavy on the crafty, very lite on the devil, if any).
While you’re there you can see who her other favorite guy is.

People are always asking me about where I’m at, where I’m going, and where I’ve been. Here’s my response:
From the last time I was in Arizona until the next time I was in Arizona, these are all the states I visited in order.
Arizona, California (stopped for a day to get a few things worked on), Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska (truck broke down Thursday night/Friday morning and we didn’t get back on the road until Tuesday morning), Iowa, Missouri, Iowa, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington (stopped Friday morning to get what we believed to be a small issue check out, didn’t get back on the road until Thursday evening), Oregon, California, Arizona.
For those of you that are more visual I’ve included a map.
My travels have been highlighted in dark green.

This was our worst trip out ever. Very few miles which equals very few dollars in the bank. Just shy of two weeks stuck places we didn’t want to be, which equals sitting around going broke, no friends, no family, not really anywhere to go.
Hopefully we do much better this time out.
We just got back on the road this morning. We’re currently stuck at a truck stop waiting for a blown out tire to be fixed. They said we’re looking at about a three hour wait. Our trailer had a blown out tire when we picked it up. I don’t think that is a good sign.
GGRRrrrrrrr!!!
