IRON MAN Rocked The House
May 2, 2008 — Peter ParkourNo spoils, not my style,
but worth a read none the less.
Iron Man was awesome. They did a really good job on this movie. So good I’m willing to say that this was the best comic book movie thus far. I’m already rubbing my hands together in anticipation of the sequel. If they put as much effort into it, I’m sure it will be even better, because there won’t be any back story to wade through.
If you go see Iron Man in the theater, and I strongly suggest you do, don’t leave before the credits are 100% done. If you leave any sooner you’re only cheating yourself. Trust me here.
I’m not a Robert Downey Jr. fan by any means, but he did a real nice job. To be honest, I’ve never even been an Iron Man fan, but this movie changed that. I still probably won’t read the comic book, but I am so looking forward to the next movie.
I searched the web and there is talk of the sequel coming out in April or May of 2010. Two more years. I liked this movie so much I was a bit bummed to not find a sooner date. I’m so full of anticipation it’s crazy. I just know as good as this movie was, the next will be that much better, or at least I hope so.
Before the movie there was a new trailer for The Incredible Hulk movie due out June 13th, 2008. While I have a lot of mixed feeling about this upcoming summer blockbuster, the trailer looked pretty good.
Many people were disappointed with the first Hulk movie, and I admit it could have been a lot better, but I also thought they did a really good job of portraying the “comic book” Hulk. Most people disappointed with the first Hulk movie were expecting something closer to the “TV version” of the Hulk.
Those people might be pleased to know that it would appear that the new Hulk movie is managing to capture many of the trademark visuals of the old TV Hulk series. Their totally reinventing both Bruce Banner (the Hulks puny alter ego) and the Hulk himself. Bruce will be played by Edward Norton (visually Ed would have been a good choice for the first movie) this time around, and the Hulk has had an angry/mean makeover.
Don’t forget the popcorn. Enjoy. ![]()

"Does anyone want to go out for burgers and drinks after the show?"
"Pssst... Hey OJ. YOU'RE A PIECE OF SHIT!"
