WARNING: Graphic Bullet Wound Images
February 26, 2008 — Peter ParkourTo get the full story start here.
The following images are the gun shot wounds my niece received on 02/09/08. The first picture is upside down. Sorry I didn’t take the time to flip it over. I was having such a hard time uploading these pics that I was just happy to get it on here at all.
The first picture is where the first bullet entered. These are all pictures she took herself with her cell phone, so that’s why the quality is what it is. The second image is where the first bullet exited. The third picture is where the second bullet exited. She didn’t have a picture of where the second bullet entered due to it’s location being difficult for her to take a picture of on her own.
Lots of bruising and lots of staples. My poor baby girl. I need to give her a call tomorrow and check in on her. I was so ready to quit my job after hearing what happened to her. The hardest part of being a trucker is being away from your loved ones. Usually its just the good times you wish you were there for, but when bad times come along you wish you were home even more. In that very moment I heard about my niece, my dream job became a nightmare.

"Does anyone want to go out for burgers and drinks after the show?"
"Pssst... Hey OJ. YOU'RE A PIECE OF SHIT!"
"Has anyone seen my rude little pig, er, ummm, I mean my daughter?"
"Has anyone seen my panties?"
"Has anyone seen my panties?"

that is such an awful thing to have happen! I hope she’s okay and that you’ll get to see her soon!!!
I’m stuck in Salt Lake City, Utah for the night, and I went to call her, and where we are right now is a bit of a cell phone black hole. I’ll have to give it another try tomorrow. It’s amazing how much better she’s doing already. It takes me longer to recover from a cold. She’s one tough cookie.

Jeez, you weren’t kidding, a lot of bruises! The poor thing. I’m sorry that your niece and family are going through this but am very glad she’s still with you.
Oh, me too, me too. It’s truly been an foundation shaking event in my family. I can assure you she’s being showered with love and support. I hate to even think of what could have been, and just really thankful for what did happen.

WHAT your in SLC and you didn’t stop by for a cup of joe? I’m hurt! j/k.
For the real matter at hand, that looks like it’s something that should heal well. I hope for her sake it’s quick!
Sorry I missed you.
I talked to my niece this morning and she said they’re all healing up quite nicely. The only one she has any concern with is the one on her inner thigh. She said it looks like it might scar up a bit on the ugly side. Other than that, she just got the go ahead from her doctor to start working again. She was in the final stages of a patient care technician training when this happened. Now she has to start all over again. We told her that’s for the better, because now she’ll have to spend four more weeks in a class room, taking it easy.
Can you believe that’s been her biggest concern this whole time? Having to take the training over. That girl is tough. I just hope she’s holding up as good on the inside.

HOW AWFUL!!! I’m sorry she is going through that! You sound like a great uncle!
She seems to be handling it better that any of us would have ever guessed. She’s a real trooper. Thanks for the uncle props.
I try.
