Hulked Out Hound

This is from a old news story I ran into from last summer, but it was new to me. Maybe it will be new to you too. In either case, I thought it was worth sharing. I just can’t get over the way this dog looks. Is that crazy or what?

And it’s a girl ta boot. Her name is Wendy, and she’s a pure bread whippet, but Wendy was born with a genetic defect that has caused her muscle mass

to double (looks like more than double to me 8O ). The small dog pictured with Wendy is what a normal sized whippet looks like. You can read the whole story here.

I’d be skerd that dog would kick my a$$! WTF? Are you just yanking my chain or is that for real? Does the dog talk too? Does the dog say with an accent, “It’s not a tumor” like Arnold?

In my mind that’s exactly how the dog talks. Every time I look at those pics I hear the dog saying stupid shit just like that (Arnold accent and all). “I’ll be back, woof.” :) Real dog, real story. Check it out.

I want this dog, it’s adorable! Imagine all the looks of horror >:D

  8. BriLar Says:

This must be the same genetic defect that is bred FOR in American Quarter Horses. It was outlawed eventually. The muscles spasm all of the time, so they become “built.” Looks like something you should eat, like a steer. Not a good gene to breed.

wow it looks like that dog is on steriods!!!

I saw this dog on TV and it is not aggressive at all. In fact, even if it did get into fight or attack a person, it wouldn’t do very much harm. Because of its over-muscled body, it can’t move around very fluidly and has a hard time defending itself against dog its own size. So, if you do see her, don’t worry. You can take her.
