Brahnamin @ Juggling Cats: The next logical step in my blogging evolution. Brahnamin is Sky’s husband, and quite the blogger. I was immediately drawn to his writing style. His posts were well written, well thought out, very articulate, and entertaining to boot.
His use of visuals are great too. Here are two fine examples titled “The Fine Art Of Kissing” and “Don’t Wait For Your Tombstone“.
I find his sense of humor similar to my own. I feel like I’ve know him since we were knee high to a grasshopper. I laugh, looking back, because I used to wonder if he was English, because of his use of the word “bloody”, bloody this, bloody that.
Getting to know someone strictly through their blog can be tricky.
Two of my favorite posts by Brahnamin are “Calling All Atheists” and the sequel “Evergreen Leaves“. Both show him for the amazingly multifaceted man he is. It’s easy for people to come off rather flat or two dimensional on their blogs, even in person in some cases. Brahnamin could never fall in with that crowd.
Sky was my gateway and ambassador to the Blogosphere, and Brahnamin was and is my blogging role model. I’ve blogged in his shadow since day one, trying to live up to his standards, imposed by me, on his behalf.
You can sort of say I’ve inspired him to write too, indirectly, in two of his more recent posts titled “Because My Wife’s Internet Boyfriend Asked Me To” and “I Think Of Myself As Well Ajusted“.
